Busiest Street
Since almost everyone is doing a year in review, it makes me feel the urge to do it as well. 😀
2011 YEAR-REVIEW:
Macau Tower
MY FIVE BEST PHOTOS OF THE YEAR:
Day 1/365 – Happy New Year everyone!
Today, we had successfully walked the walk, around the main outer-rim of Macau Tower, 233 meters above ground.
Fortaleza do Monte
Day 17/365 – I added the star map from SkySafari (a planetarium program installed in my Iphone) to the original photo. If the sky was dark enough, we would had seen this magnificent night sky as displayed in the picture. The faint band of light across the sky you see in the picture is the beautiful milky way. I have always wanted to see the milky way with my naked eyes. But here in Macau, light pollution means that I never have a chance. If you can see the milky way when you look up at the sky, please let me know where the place is, someday in the future I will go there.
Feast of the Drunken Dragon
Day 130/365 – “The Feast of the Drunken Dragon has an interesting history. Legend has it that during the Qing Dynasty, villagers of mainland China were attacked with a plague. They called upon the Buddha to protect them, by parading a large statue of the Buddha through village streets. During the procession, a python (believed to have been sent from heaven)…(Read the full post)
Sai Van Bridge
Day 132/365 – There are three bridges in Macau city. The oldest one is the Governor Nobre de Carvalho Bridge, also known as the Macau-Taipa Bridge, which is a dual-lane two-way bridge connecting Macau Peninsula and the island of Taipa. Opened to traffic in 1974. The second one is the Bridge of Friendship, also known as the New Macau-Taipa Bridge, it is a four-lane, two-way bridge which connects Macau Peninsula near the Reservoir and Taipa Island.

Day 289/365 – Last night I had a wonderful dream. I dreamed of a tree that was talking to me, and it asked me when it was the last time I spend time in nature.

Day 100/365 – Yey! I make it to Day 100 of 365 Days!!!!
Day 120/365– Albert Einstein (1879 – 1955) Exhibition is really great! ^0^ If you are one of his fan you can’t miss the exhibition! Here I list the items you will expect to see in the exhibition:…The exhibition hall is not very big, but big enough to spend the whole day there (if you are one of those who would read every single word and watch all of the videos shown in the exhibition). We had spent more than 6 hours there and still no time to watch the video in the astronomical theater.
Hong Kong Science Museum
Day 268/365 – Linkin Park A Thousand Suns World Tour at Singapore Grand Prix 2011. This is my 5th time to watch Linkin Park live! I feel so lucky and grateful to watch them live again! I like them so much since 2004. The band has become a part of my life as their songs are amazing which can lift up my spirit and ease my soul.
Linkin Park Live in Singapore Grand Prix
To me, Linkin Park are the best band ever on earth. Their musics do make me feel. No matter what they sing, I will always love to listen to their songs. Moreover, I would like to say thank you to Mike Shinoda, because he is an inspiration and he has made wonderful impacts on my life. Like, painting and writing musical pieces.
Sending duckies to swim!
MY MOST RELAXING DAY OF THE YEAR:
Day 309/365 – Instead of going for a jog at the Guia Hill like I usually do on every Saturday mornings, I come to the Black Sand Beach and relax. Look! I’m sending “duckies” to swim!

Paper Aeroplane
Day 315/365 – Today, 2011-11-11, is considered to be a date with a very special meaning. Many couples just get married on this date. They believe that their marriage will be blessed and last forever. Today, also is the Remembrance Day in Canada and in Australia, which commemorates the sacrifices of people in all armed conflicts, also is the Veterans Day in United States, and Singles’ Day (a pop culture holiday) in China.
The program "Invisible Wounds of War"
By coincidence, I saw this video on MikeShinoda’s blog, and felt deeply touched by the name of the program – “Invisible Wound of War”. Here, in this video, Lisa Ling talks about “Invisible Wound of War”, an episode about veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
